What counts as an investment in a club
Ownership, sponsorship capital, and the stake a reader can actually name.
Invest is not a mood about a league getting richer. It is a buyer, a club or a company, and a stake or a sum that someone has put on paper. A jersey sponsor with a term sheet qualifies. A tweet about “big money” does not.
We will name who wrote the check and what they received: equity, a board seat, a sponsorship, a stadium right. If the number is not public, we do not invent one to make the homepage look certain.
